AB Novestra has exercised an option and invested an additional MSEK 8.5 in MyPublisher, Inc. After this transaction, Novestra becomes MyPublisher’s second largest owner with an ownership stake of 28.56%. MyPublisher’s founder and CEO, Carl Navarre, owns approx. 50% of the shares in the company.

MyPublisher has developed an end-to-end solution enabling the printing of individual photo books, calendars and PowerPointTM presentations based on an online digital platform. In addition to having developed a proprietary production system and software, MyPublisher has also built a production facility in Westchester, N.Y., with a capacity to produce customised digital print products for consumers as well as industrial customers.

MyPublisher’s photo books were launched in 2002 and have been available primarily to Macintosh users. In February 2003, Adobe Systems included MyPublisher’s services and products in their new Adobe® Photoshop® Album software. During 2003, the company plans to expand distribution to further channels within the consumer segment as well as to industrial customers, including a further development of a plug-in for Microsoft PowerPointTM.

MyPublisher expects continued strong growth during 2003 and believes that the increase in the digital camera market combined with the introduction of new software programmes is the driving force within the product category which MyPublisher has launched and continues to develop.
